01 / WHAT WE COLLECT

smstream is an editorial publication about the FIFA World Cup 26™. We collect the minimum information needed to operate the site: your email if you join the newsletter, your message if you write to us via /contact, and anonymised analytics about how pages perform.

We do not sell, share or rent personal data to advertising networks. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. The site runs on first-party cookies for session continuity only.

DATA WE DO COLLECT

• Email address (newsletter only, opt-in)

• Message content + reply-to email (contact form)

• Anonymised page views, country, referrer (Plausible Analytics)

• Session cookie (Laravel, expires on close)

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

• Names — only voluntary on contact form

• Physical address — never

• Payment information — we never sell anything

• Tracking cookies / cross-site identifiers — none, ever

02 / HOW WE USE IT

Newsletter emails only get newsletter emails. Contact-form submissions get a reply, then the message and email sit in our admin inbox until they're archived (typically 90 days). Analytics are aggregate — we can see that 12,000 people read the Atlanta city guide last week, but we cannot see who you are.

We never use your data to retarget you on third-party platforms.

Under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) you can request: access to all data we hold on you, correction of any errors, deletion of your records, and a data-export. Email privacy@smstream.com — we reply within 30 days.
